Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side. When Superman is kidnapped Krypto enlists his shelter pet friends to come to the rescue.
This workshop will address the themes of friendship and super powers (we all have them within us!). The children will look at The DC superhero logos and we’ll use watercolour paints to draw pets and animals.
After the film we’ll create our own super hero pet posters using watercolour and character sketching. Every participant will take home a detailed painting that has a special meaning to them.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 7-14 years.
Schedule:
10am: welcome and warm up creative exercises
11:30am: film screening
1pm: lunch. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
After lunch: workshop of drawing and painting activities
3.30pm: ends
