In a logging town in the Pacific Northwest, the discovery of the corpse of homecoming queen, meals on wheels volunteer and cheerleader Laura Palmer whose smiling portrait sits in the medal cabinet in pride of place, rocks the community. The cosy townsfolk are found to be full of secrets, uncovered slowly by unorthodox FBI Agent Dale Cooper. David Lynch and Hill Street Blues writer Mark Frost bring together a fantastic ensemble cast of actors, ranging from Hollywood legends such as Russ Tamblyn and Piper Laurie to Seattle theatre regulars and long-time Lynch collaborators such as Jack Nance and Catherine Coulson.
