With the World War I ended, Britain occupied Palestine with uneasy peace. Upholding peace accords that assured Arab independence if they helped defeat the Ottoman Empire, whilst agreeing to establish a Jewish “national home” in the land. Inspired by real events, this thriller takes us inside the life of writer Shoshana Borochov and her relationship with Tom Wilkin, who worked in the anti-terrorist squad of the British Palestinian Police Force and the tangled web of political groups the Lehi and Haganah. Through their relationship the film explores the way extremism and violence drives a wedge between people, forcing them to choose sides.
