This event is in BSL and interpreted in English
Wind down on the last day of our festival with experienced teacher Emma, who brings us tranquillity and a focus on wellbeing in this 60-minute restorative yoga practice.
Emma will be encouraging us to explore the idea of physical and mental shapeshifting, to help us embrace the changes and transformation in our lives.
The session will start with pranayama, which is a breath control practice and then, using tapping and drumming, will encourage grounding and the release of any nervous energy. We’ll progress into a relaxing flow before slowing down with a couple of yin holds.
We’ll wind down the session with a resting Savasana.
Emma was practising yoga on and off for 5 years before she took the leap and graduated yoga teacher training in April 2024. She’s based in Scarborough, offering lessons in Scarborough and York. She’s in the process of developing online classes.
