Deaf Gathering Cymru: Gavin Lilley Comedy Workshop
Attributes
Free but booking essential
Do you enjoy making people laugh? Fancy stepping on the stage to try it?
We’re delighted that Gavin Lilley will share 15 years of experience to bring you a comedy workshop exploring tips and strategies on how to start out as a stand-up comedian.
During the two-hour workshop you’ll look at how to develop content, manage delivery, and develop audience interaction to build rapport. Gavin will also share some essential insights, like what to do if a joke fails or what happens if you go blank on stage!
This workshop will give you the confidence to deliver short comedy sketches in public. If you feel confident enough, you can even try your hand at our Open Mic night later in the evening!
Do come along, even if it’s just for a laugh… that’s the whole point, after all!
