A poor woodcutter and his wife live childless, deep in the Polish forest. One day, watching a passing train, a package is thrown into the snow that changes their lives. Adapted from Jean-Claude Grumberg’s novella, this is a timely animated fable about the terrifying times when fascism stalks the land, and the humanity that fights against it.
