Eimear Walshe: MIXED MESSAGES FROM THE IRISH REPUBLIC
Exploring the love and grief for a land entangled in colonial legacies, revolution, rebellion and undelivered promise.
Our front carpark will be closed 9 May – 15 June. Please use our main carpark which is accessible from Market Road.
We commission and present thought-provoking exhibitions and events by contemporary artists who expand our world view and challenge the status quo. Embracing multiple and diverse perspectives, risk taking and experimentation, our programme encompasses all art forms, encouraging cross-fertilisation between disciplines.
Chapter Gallery is open Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-5pm.

Made in response to the fire that took place at Grenfell Tower in North Kensington, West London in 2017 — a tragedy in which 72 people died — to create a lasting legacy, McQueen filmed the tower before it was covered in hoarding.
This billboard shows an aerial view of Bray Head, County Wicklow, Ireland. A gorse fire has revealed letters in the landscape spelling EIRE, with the first letter barely visible. EIRE is an anglicised misspelling of Éire, the Irish word for Ireland, and the official Irish language name for the country since 1937.
A collaborative, touring artwork that invites parents and carers to feed their young children in public venues.
Join us for a day of learning and action on the climate emergency and multi-species justice.
Whose voices are heard in museums, whose histories are told, and how does exploring the past shape the future of anti-racism?
We're working with Sophie Mak-Schram on this project.
International in outlook and embedded in Wales, we work with artists locally and globally. From solo presentations and group exhibitions to interventions and residencies, we collaborate with artists at all stages of their careers, supporting them to realise ambitious ideas and new ways of working.
The artists we work with actively engage with critical questions and issues that shape our present. We foster dialogue between audiences, artists and their practice through a public programme. This enables multiple opportunities to connect, (un)learn and reflect on our histories, the way we live now and how we might imagine new futures.
Chapter Gallery is open Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-5pm.
