Prizes for filmmakers aged 26+ (supported by Ymddiried Media Grants) include a package of professional mentoring covering key stages of filmmaking.
Submissions can be anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes long, and all genres are welcome in live action or animation. Your film just has to be made entirely within the 48-hour period and must include the line of dialogue and/or prop assigned to you.
The challenge will take place on the weekend of World Ocean Day, starting at 7pm on Friday 7 June and ending at 7pm on Sunday 9 June.
Entry is completely free. Find the full rules and register your team.
The finalists will then be presented in a special screening in The Ucheldre Centre in Holyhead on Saturday June 22 at 3.30pm, and the winners will also be shown at the SeeMôr Film Festival in October. Travel bursaries will be available for selected filmmakers.
BFI Film Academy events in Wales are delivered by Chapter and supported by National Lottery funding.
