Art Fund recently launched their new National Art Pass campaign, ‘See More, Live More’ highlighting the health and wellbeing benefits of art and culture.

"We feel more than ever that people need places where they can relax, learn, contemplate and wander."

—Stephen Deuchar, director, Art Fund

Over the summer, we took part in Art Fund’s latest initiative, trialling a new piece of technology that monitors brainwaves and visualises the result in real-time.

Visitors in our gallery had the option to monitor their brainwaves in real-time whilst engaging with the artwork to illustrate the impact art can have on people’s brains and emotions.

As an organisation, we’re continuously working towards creating a welcoming space where people can relax, unwind, engage and learn and we hope that you can also take five minutes of leisure to aid your health and wellbeing!
