Films at Chapter 5 – 18 January

Happy new year everyone! We've got some amazing films and events coming up at our cinemas that span big events, small moments, love, loss and so much more. Welsh legend Anthony Hopkins stars in the moving story of humanitarian Nicholas Winton in One Life, while Michael Mann's Ferrari explores the empire created by Formula 1 legend Enzo Ferrari.

Don't miss Saltburn's Jacob Elordi appearing as young Elvis in Priscilla (which we're thrilled to be showing in 35mm for select screenings!), alongside star Ceilee Spaeny, and Emma Stone gives an exquisite central performance in the gloriously imaginative Poor Things.

We're hosting three fantastic events, including a Q&A with writer and activist Aubrey Gordon and director Jeanie Finlay for Your Fat Friend. Go behind the screen in our backstage tours to see how the inner workings of an independent cinema look like in a tour of our projection booth! And as part of Artes Mundi 10, we're screening two of Nguyễn Trinh Thi's films, highlighting Vietnamese history and exploring the complex legacy of the cultural and historical occupation.
