Celebrate the iconic partnership of writer-director-producer duo Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger and their extended creative family The Archers in BFI’s Powell & Pressburger season of films!
Our Cinema Programme Manager Claire Vaughan has curated a season of themes to celebrate the duo including a Halloween special: The Birth of the Slasher, where you can watch the birth of the slasher genre with Peeping Tom, back-to-back with Psycho, Halloween, and Bad Film Club: X Ray.
A treat for the family this spooky season, Cardiff Animation Festival are hosting a free screening and UK premier of the animated Scarygirl! The screening will be followed by a recorded Q&A with the creators and producers.
More for the family during the half-term, we’re screening the delightful comic tale of The Canterville Ghost, written by the Welsh actor Kieron Self! Join us for an in-person Q&A with Kieron on Sunday 29 October at 11am.
