We reach the end of our BFI Powell and Pressburger season with a strand that coincides with our Reciprocal Gestures season in the theatre. To celebrate art and obsession in film, we complete the season by looking at the art of dance in Black Swan, Bluebeard’s Castle + The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and The Red Shoes. Catch a screening of our Performance Artist in Residence, Anushiye Yarnell’s Marathon of Intimacies.

Bradley Cooper stars in Netflix and Altitude’s latest film Maestro, Ridley Scott’s spectacle-filled Napoleon and new psychological thriller Eileen hit our big screens.

The Aardman classic returns with the long-awaited sequel of Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, and our free family film, which coincides with our Powell & Pressburger programme, Disney’s Fantasia.

We have a host of events coming up this fortnight in our cinemas, including Bad Film Club’s Christmas special, a unique screening of In This World with Oasis Cardiff on 2 December, and a broadcasted Q&A with Wim Wenders after the screening of Anselm on Wednesday 5 December at 7.55pm.
