We’re looking forward to spring equinox and welcoming in the new season. Make the most of the longer days and spend more time enjoying the best of art, film and performance with us!
April begins an incredible calendar of festivals starting with Wales’ only biennial festival of live art, Experimentica: Call to Spring (11−14 April) followed swiftly by the nicest animation festival in the world, Cardiff Animation Festival (25−28 April), with their delicious 2024 theme of ‘Treat’.
We’re celebrating the creative people of Chapter with the brand new Herding Cats: A scratch night from our staff artist collective, CYD! Come and show your support for the familiar faces across Chapter for a night that shares what makes our creative community so special.
With Easter just around the corner, we have some extra special treats for you to feast on! Lyngo Theatre present mesmerising puppetry and beautiful music in The Little Prince, perfect for the whole family to enjoy together in this adaptation of one of the best-selling children’s books of all time. Alongside this, our regular free family film slots and packed lunches for all children during the holidays. (bit more info on the content.
Our gallery is undergoing a little transformation in readiness for the new season and our next exhibition by Adham Faramawy: in the simmering air and the flows of the undercurrent, which opens on Friday 29 March. In the meantime, come and experience Belief System, Ranters Theatre’s captivating installation in our Stiwdio Seligman.
We’re thrilled to welcome NT Live back with their latest performance of The Motive and the Cue, starring Mark Gatiss and Johnny Flynn and if you missed Vanya, you can catch that for the final time on Sunday 10 March!
